At CORT I'm part of a great team developing internal and public facing web applications on several tech stacks. I'm primarily working on Elastic Path and Magento development while helping maintain some legacy in-house applications. My main focus is front end development with some PHP, although I'm dipping into Java from time to time. I frequently switch between MSSQL and MySQL databases in my day-to-day tasks. SVN, Puppet and Rundeck are keeping our primary environments up to date.
I'm enjoying using Agile project management on our current project. I'm also enjoying working with Velocity templates, jQuery and keeping on top of caniuse.com and our Omniture stats to see which new features of CSS3 and HTML5 can start jumping into the toolkit.

Since 2003, I have worked on various web design and development, network installation and computer repair projects. I have focused on PHP/MySQL, but I have also worked on strict XHTML/CSS sites, small LAN setups, building/repairing PCs, and light data recovery. While my focus is in web programming, my skillset is broad.
I have worked on every stage of design, development and testing of numerous websites.

L2C is a major art installation consisting of 48 separate controller boards which individually address 2,688 high intensity LEDs. Generally, these boards are displayed in a 160ft diameter ring. The project is coded entirely in 8051 Tiny assembly. After a major overhaul of the code to add new boards, and countless hours involved in writing new patterns, I've taken over as the lead software developer for the project.
